A little about me…
Since 2002, I’ve worked as a designer at a fine flooring and design center, where I continue to help clients bring their visions to life. I guide homeowners building new homes or remodeling through the material selection process, making what can feel overwhelming both approachable and exciting. In 2006, I expanded into freelance design, offering full-service interior design throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients — from furnishing award-winning model homes for the Kansas City Parade of Homes, to staging properties for sale, to working alongside custom home builders and remodelers to simplify and elevate every design decision. I’ve also designed commercial interiors, including projects for Radio Disney and Texas A&M University.
My experience spans everything from new construction and full-scale remodels to helping clients reimagine one room at a time. I love blending high-end pieces with budget-friendly finds, sourcing from local hidden gems and national retailers alike. When possible, I incorporate what my clients already own — mixing the old with the new to create spaces that feel layered, meaningful, and truly lived-in.
At the heart of it all, I believe design is more than aesthetics — it’s about creating spaces that resonate emotionally and reflect the people who live in them.
My Design Philosophy & Inspiration
I believe a home should reflect your story. That’s why I create spaces that are entirely personal — not just functional or stylish, but deeply aligned with how you live and what you love. Whether that means designing a kitchen that encourages connection, a living room for having deep conversations, or a quiet space for reflection, I craft environments that support your life and your goals.
I want to get to know you — your dreams, your passions, your routines — so I can design a space that feels wholly yours. Every detail is chosen with intention, tailored to your lifestyle, and created to inspire.
My design approach is shaped by what moves me: travel, the study of global design, music, fashion, and wellness. These passions bring fresh ideas and meaningful layers to every project. I draw inspiration from the graceful flow of pilates, the timeless character of antiques, the energy of live music, and the way a city glows at night. I love incorporating elements like real houseplants, vintage speakers, or a quiet tea ceremony setup — pieces that bring warmth, texture, and soul into a space.
I believe spaces can speak to the soul. They can ground us, energize us, and inspire us to become more of who we are. Guided by the concept of chakras and the flow of energy, I design with balance in mind — creating environments that nurture both ambition and calm. Whether supporting movement, mindfulness, or simply moments of peace, my goal is to design spaces that feel as good as they look.
I look forward to creating something beautiful, personal, and lasting with you — a space that inspires you and elevates you every single day.
